Sandy Grace, D.D.S.

General Dentist

Sandy Grace, DDS, is a general dentist serving patients in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Grace leads the team at Grace Dental Design, a practice she has owned and operated for 27 years.

A Shawnee native, Sandy attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in order to enter the health care field to rectify issues she saw within dentistry while growing up.

Her passion for dentistry came from being abused as a patient by a dentist when she was a child. Dr. Grace always knew there had to be a better way. That fear of the dentist that she still struggles with today has made her an extremely empathetic dentist. She truly understands patients’ fear, and all the Grace Dental Design team members have been educated on understanding the needs of fearful patients.

Dr. Grace prides herself on creating a safe, gentle and caring environment for everyone who walks through the doors of Grace Dental Design.

Off the clock, Sandy enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and vacationing at the beach and Napa Valley with her husband of 29 years, Verej Jazirvar, and their two daughters, Kelsey and Lindsey.

Jessica Leal, RDH

Dental Hygienist

A graduate of Rose State College, Jessica Leal has been part of the Grace Dental Design team since July 2012. As a dental hygienist, Jessica believes her profession encompasses more than just providing people with clean and beautiful smiles.

“My main purpose is to help treat and prevent oral diseases which can have ramifications not only with oral health but can also be linked to systemic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. But honestly, the most rewarding part of my job is caring for our patients and helping them to live healthier lives with bright smiles!”

Dedicated to providing quality treatment, Jessica loves Grace Dental Design’s commitment to fostering patient relationships. Jessica spends her off time with her husband, Michael and their two daughters, Zelda and Millie. She loves exploring nature, cooking, and creative pursuits like music, movies, and art.

Aubrey Coots

Dental Assistant + Office Manager

A member of Grace Dental Design since 2005, Moore native Aubrey Coots graduated from BYU Idaho with an associate’s degree in biology and a bachelor’s degree in hospital administration.

She is passionate about helping patients understand how good oral health is great for the whole body. Aubrey finds joy in being a calming presence for patients working through dental fears.

She was drawn to Grace Dental Design for the camaraderie and caring nature of her coworkers, and describes the staff as a “close-knit team; we care about a patient’s comfort and experience.”

Aubrey has one daughter, Marren, who was born in Ethiopia. The pair likes volunteering at the Regional Food Bank with their church, traveling to new places, and spending time with family.

Beverly Grace

Patient Coordinator

Beverly Grace has been Grace Dental Design’s patient coordinator since 2002 and knows the ins-and-outs of the dental industry, helping all incoming patients feel welcome and at ease. Born on a farm in Shattuck, OK, Beverly met her husband, cruising 23rd Street here in Oklahoma City. Beverly’s favorite part of the job is “meeting people and helping them with their insurance and financial needs.”

The main draw of Grace Dental Design for Beverly? Her daughter, Sandy! But apart from working with family every day, she loves the office’s relaxing atmosphere.

When Beverly is not behind the desk helping patients, she enjoys cooking, sewing, and playing cards.

Jovan Sims

Dental Assistant

Jovan is the latest addition to our team as of October 2020! She has worked in the dental field for three years, and she loves the satisfaction dentistry provides for both the patients and the team. “I love seeing the smiles on people’s faces after getting their dental work done,” Jovan says. “Seeing how we help transform smiles makes me happy!”

A bright presence in our office with her contagious laugh, Jovan has already become an invaluable addition to the team. She deems Grace Dental Design the best dental practice in OKC because “everyone on our team makes sure the patient is not only happy, but comfortable every step of the way.”

When she’s not helping put patients at ease, Jovan loves doing crafts and spending time outdoors with her Five children.
